2. Purposes of the data processing
We will process your personal data for the following purposes:
- to make this website available to you and to further improve and develop this website;
- to compile usage statistics;
- to detect, prevent and investigate attacks on our website;
- to provide you with a web-based shop system
3. Legal basis of the processing
The legal basis for processing your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation), which consists of achieving the purposes mentioned in point 2 above.
4. Transfer of your personal data
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise disclosed if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing, or if you have given your prior consent. In the context of order processing, for example, the service providers we use (e.g. shipping companies, logistics providers, payment service providers) receive the data necessary for order and contract processing. However, in the event of a legal requirement, an official order or an official investigation, we are legally obliged to make the relevant data available to the authorities.

5. Duration of storage
We will generally store your data for a period of three months. Longer storage will only take place if this is necessary to investigate detected attacks on our website.
If you register on our website, we will store your data for as long as your account exists and thereafter only for as long as required by legal obligations.
Duration of cookie storage: The two long-term cookies ‘Cookies accepted’ and the selected shop language are stored for 1 year. All other cookies are session cookies, which are deleted as soon as the browser is closed after a session.
6. Newsletter
If you subscribe to the PÖTTINGER newsletter and thereby give PÖTTINGER Landtechnik GmbH your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), your name and email address will be processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter. To provide these services, eworx Network & Internet GmbH is used as a processor, to which your specified data will be transferred for this purpose.
7. Use of social media plugins
We use plugins from the following social networks (see list below). To do this, we use a two-step process in which you can give your consent to the processing of data by the social network operator in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Data is only transferred to the social network operator when users click on one of the icons displayed and thereby consent to the transfer of data to the social network operator. Only after such consent is given will a connection be established between your browser and the respective social network. The social network receives information about your visit to our websites via the plugin. If you are logged in to one or more of the networks listed below, your visit may be associated with your social network account. Any interactions with the plugin may be stored by the network operator. Information about the use of data collected by the respective social network can be found on the website of the respective social media company in the ‘Data Protection’ or ‘Privacy’ section.
